Harry Major Machine's approach to simultaneous engineering is the process of solving the manufacturing and handling problems while developing the plant layout. What this entails is selecting your machine tool suppliers and HMM prior to a plant layout. The team of project managers and account managers determines the part orientation, production rates, line speeds and manufacturing philosophies such as lean manufacturing in developing the plant layout.

System Engineering

System engineering at Harry Major Machine is the process of controlling the project from engineering through manufacturing to final installation. This process reduces costs by monitoring plant layout changes and reassigning the materials as plant layout changes occur.

Mechanical Design

Harry Major Machine can 100% mechanically design the equipment or systems we provide to our customers. Our design team uses a variety of Computer Aided Design (CAD) systems to completely customize the equipment designs to your requirements. We provide you with completely documented mechanical designs to your specifications. We use our mechanical design experience to provide you with robust and reliable manufacturing equipment.

Controls Design

The Harry Major Machine controls design team can provide the complete electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic designs for your manufacturing systems. We have experience in a wide variety of controls design architecture. Our design team uses Computer Aided Design (CAD) to completely customize the equipment designs to your requirements. We provide you with completely documented controls designs to your specifications. We can provide the complete controls design package for the equipment we manufacture for you, including panel design, logic, interlocks, and debug/commissioning.

Equipment Installation

Harry Major Machine has a complete in-house service department. When the job ships to the customer, HMM technicians can give you any level of support you may require from installation supervision to complete installation of the equipment. Our service technicians are experienced in providing both mechanical and controls installation support.
